A superb example of the worlds favourite classic airliner, this very 
plane is a South African legend. Having served with the Allies during WWII, 
Klapperkop entered SAA service on August 16, 1948.

The Last DC4  Skymaster Ever Built  
Flying for the joint SAA/BOAC Johannesburg to London route in the late 1940's and early 1950's, the original "Lebombo"was 
part of a fleet of Skymasters that formed the creme of the intercontinental SAA fleet. AUB still graces the African skies.
